5、把握饲料原料的质量

预混料的添加量仅有4%或者稍大比例，而是大宗原料像玉米和豆粕就有了将近90%～96%的占比，因此原料质量关重要。目前，农村市场饲料原料的质量差异很大因此，在挑选原料时特别像玉米这类能量原料一定要注意：水分，霉变情况，是否是新粮或者储备粮等等，因为这些将直接影响到饲料的使用效果。

6、注意原料的粉碎粒度

降低饲料粒度不仅可提高于物质、氮和能量的消化率，也可改善仔猪、育成猪和肥育猪的饲料转化率。不过粉碎力度也要考虑不同阶段的猪只，如果给母猪饲喂过细的原料也会增加胃溃疡的发病率，给管理、加工及能耗增加等一系列的问题。建议乳仔猪选择1.0或者以下筛片、中猪2.0、大猪2.5。

8、正确的饲喂方法

预混料不能单独饲喂，必须按配方混合后方可饲喂，不能用水冲或蒸煮后饲喂。更换料时要循序渐进，1星期左右完成换料，尽量减少换料引起的采食减少，生长下降等应激。
