　　有些养殖户往往以饲料的鱼腥味大小来评定饲料中鱼粉的含量，以此判断浓缩料质量好坏的看法是不对的。当前市场上有种叫鱼腥香的添加剂，加到饲料中就显得鱼腥味很浓，养猪场(户)要认识到这一点。

　　猪吃了就睡不能表明饲料好

　　猪有一定的生活习性，特别是40公斤以下的小猪，每天中午前后都有一定的时间玩耍。吃了就睡的猪是由于在饲料中添加了剂(安眠药)，猪吃了剂后破坏了其正常的生理功能，所以嗜睡。而剂对猪的肌体会起到、降体温、心跳加快的作用，影响其正常代谢。为此，对饲料行业早有规定，禁止添加这些药物。

　　评定饲料质量好坏，要看饲料转化率的高低。有些养殖户认为，猪排黑粪证明食用的饲料好，排黄粪证明食用了不好的饲料。个别饲料厂家为了迎合养殖户的心理，在饲料中添加了一些对猪的生长发育没有作用的物质，如腐殖酸钠、血粉和160ppm(百万分比浓度)以上的铜，不但提高了饲料成本，增加了养猪户的负担，而且又没有明显的促生产作用。
